Regularly Scheduled Series

Regularly Scheduled Series (RSS) activities are accredited CE/CME activities planned as a series of lectures presented primarily to an internal audience and held on a regular basis (weekly, monthly, quarterly, etc.).

All RSS activities are accredited for the academic year, July 1-June 30. Applications for RSS activities will be accepted throughout the academic year, with Joint providership fees prorated based on the amount of time remaining in the year.

There are three types of RSS activities:  Grand Rounds/Lecture Series, Case Conferences, and Journal Clubs.

For more information, call 501-661-7962 to arrange a consultation.

Please note before starting the application process:

  • All planners, speakers, and moderators must fill out the online disclosure form.  No paper disclosures will be allowed.
  • Please do not use any old forms because information has changed.
  • Nursing, pharmacy, PA, and physician credits are available through a single application process for your RSS. It is recommended that you include a nurse, physician, or pharmacist, on your planning committee.
  • Interprofessional education (IPE) is a priority for UAMS at all levels of education, including continuing education. Planning this activity for at least 2 healthcare professionals (i.e. physicians and nurses) and including representatives of these healthcare professions on the planning committee, will be a way to demonstrate your department’s commitment to IPE.
